Mathushek Piano Serial Number
I don't have a digi picture of my piano.. (I say MINE, but it lives at my mothers house.. until I buy a house and won't be moving for a while,)
This is the closest in appearance I can find on the net http://www.shafferpianos.com/mathushek/ Mine is a different wood. , and it has cutouts in the front backed with a now ragged material. I'm wondering what anyone knows about this brand. Other than it's my baby.. and I love the way it sounds and feels.. I don't know anything of this brand.. (other than what's on the link above). My parents bought it at a furniture store. The owner had inherited it.. and no one in his family wanted it. My parents got it for $2000.00 (I have no idea its value) It needs to be tuned.. as it hasn't been tuned in a long..long..long.. time (I'm worried about that. Not knowing anything about the task of tuning.. I'm afraid that it will somehow not take after all these years.) and no one plays it but me when I go home.. being out of tune.. I don't bother. Just thought I'd share! And would love to hear if anyone plays one.. Kimball Piano Serial NumberComments are closed.
